Hello, world. (We are Binary Plus Studios.)
Two developers, one studio, one game in the oven. Here's what we're making and why.
Hello. We are Binary Plus Studios — Jae and Rich — and we make games.
More accurately: we are making a game. One. On purpose. We looked at the state of indie dev in 2026 and thought: “what if we actually finished something?” So here we are.
Who’s here
Two developers. Same studio. Mostly the same desk, honestly. We’ve been building things together long enough that we’ve stopped keeping track of who wrote what — the code is ours, the bugs are ours, the wins are ours.
What we’re making
Our first title is Bramblewood & Co. — a cozy shop sim about a potion shop, a forest, and the wildly untrustworthy woodland creatures who wander in to buy things. You can read more about it on the game page.
It is the kind of game we would want to play on a Sunday evening with tea. That turned out to be the entire design brief.
Why this site exists
We wanted somewhere that wasn’t a social platform to write about what we’re doing. The plan:
- Devlogs when there’s something to show.
- A game page per project. (Currently: 1.)
- An about page. It says there are two of us.
