About
Bramblewood & Co. is a cozy shop sim about running a small potion shop on the edge of a deeply suspicious forest. Brew potions from ingredients you forage, price them fairly (or don’t), and serve a rotating cast of woodland customers — each with their own preferences, budgets, and, yes, scams.
We’re building it as our first release: we are really excited and have put a lot of work into the game and we hope you have as much fun playing as we did writing the awful jokes!
Current status
WIP — playtest v0.3.x
All the elements of the game are there. We’re onto the fun bit, that will take the longest time probably which is making it look pretty and hunting for bugs.
Design goals
- Cozy, but with teeth. Not every customer is your friend. Read the room.
- Adaptable for a variety of playstyles. Want to build and make everything pretty, or focus on fleecing the locals. Your choice!
What’s next
- Make the terrain system less boring
- Sort out steam and twitch integration
- GEt the game to sound good as well as looking good
